Sagne incannulate di grano Senatore Cappelli

Just like the old days, forty-eight hours of low-temperature drying for a genuine, all-Italian experience with “Senatore Cappelli” Wheat.

Description

Originating in Salento, sagne ‘ncannulate are now widespread throughout the region. They are strips of pasta made from durum wheat semolina, water and salt that first take the shape of noodles, but are then twisted around a torch to make them resemble spirals.

According to popular legend, the origin of the format can be traced back to the curls of wood that came out of St. Joseph’s planer; they may resemble the beads of a rosary, but it could be concluded, more simply, that they resemble tripolines.

Our product is dried for 48 h and at low temperature and processed with Italian “Senatore Cappelli” wheat.
