THE WINE: How is wine made?

Wine is an alcoholic beverage dating back to ancient times as with the production of vinegar or oil it too needs to have multiple stages of processing the main stages are 5.

Grape harvest:

The first stage obviously has to be the grape harvest is the primary stage as we are going to select and choose the raw materials, so we are going to harvest our grapes by hand or with machinery and then we are going to clean them and move on to the next stage

Grape Squeezer

After a careful selection, we are going to take our grapes and squeeze them to get the 'juice' that will then form our wine, at this stage we need to be very scrupulous and careful as we should make a further selection so that we do not get grapes that are not of the best quality

Fermentation

After the first stages we need to move on to fermentation which will give the opportunity to make alcoholic our products along with sugars and other essences will ensure the flavor we desirep fermentation can last for months and years, depending on the type of wine we want to produce

Transfer to wooden barrels

The transfer to wooden barrels follows fermentation as it will be aged in these barrels, many wine connoisseurs also called someliers, also wish to have in their cellars wines with decades of aging that in turn are considered very fine

Bottling

After all the stages, you move on to the final stage, bottling, bottling may seem like a simple thing, but the bottle has to be suitable for the wine that you have made as all the wine will go to rest in your bottles and it has to retain the flavors before you go into bottling

Which wine to choose?

Depending on the food we are going to serve on our tables, the wine bottle will adapt to all dishes let's see all types of wine in detail:

Redwine: red wine is usually used in meat pairings as it has a very robust flavor

Roséwine: rosé wine can be used in the 'middle' ways when you are undecided about what to pair with your dish

White wine: white wine is suitable for all fish dishes, which has a more delicate and refined flavor.

Best Italian wines

The best wines are considered to be the Italian ones since the wine mainly originates in iItaly, but of course all regions have the types of wine that distinguish them from others, the best wines from Puglia are

Negramaro wine: Negramaro has a strong dark red color, tending to black. It has a bouquet that goes on the very strong fruity side, similar to small black berries, many times with small tobacco aromas. The taste goes slightly on the bitter side but round, full and dry.

Primitivo wine: Primitivo produced in this way is generally deep ruby in color, with violet hues that tend toward garnet with age. The aroma is of red fruits such as black cherry, blackberries, and plums, with additional floral notes of violets.
